I have a few random things to post about and then I finally have them...pictures of our house! Not of the whole place but of pretty much everything that is finished. First things first.

A couple of weekends ago I went on a girls trip with some awesome girls. Want to read more? Go to Haley's or Stacey's blogs I'll let them tell you all we did. But I wanted to include a picture of some really cool waterfalls (Thanks Linn) that we went to. If you ever get a chance go find them. For some reason I can't think of what they are called but the other blogs will tell you. They were awesome though!

I always love babysitting my niece and nephew. They are just the cutest. However, on this particular night I got to babysit just Sullivan. It was so much fun! He is seriously so adorable. I was able to spend some good alone time with him just like I used to with Tessa and get to know him better. This is his "I told you so" face. Not sure what he was doing

Unfortunately I didn't get a good shot of his new face that he likes to do but this was the best one. He usually scrunches up his mouth and nose too and it's adorable. My favorite part is he'll do it on request.

Next random tidbit, our new ward is 95% over 65 years old and 5% newly married couples or couples with a couple of young kids. We don't mind too much especially when our adorable neighbor Dorothy brought over this welcome basket. She had some oatmeal/walnut cookies and snicker doodles in the basket and I'm not exaggerating when I say they were some of the best cookies I've EVER tasted.

Alright, on to the house. The whole house was painted this brown-ish color. Literally the WHOLE house. So naturally I hated it. For two weeks before moving in we painted every moment we could. So after lots of painting...

I have not posted pictures of our master bedroom or the upstairs. We haven't really finished the upstairs since we hardly go up there but as soon as we finish the nursery I'll post some more pics. The master bedroom is also a work in progress and I will post pictures when it is finished. I kind of hate it right now :)

We also bought some patio furniture and some plants for our back patio but I don't have pictures. I'll do that another day. I do have one that I have to share. When we moved in the weed featured below was about 6 inches tall. With all the water and then the heat it totally flourished and when we finally pulled it out last week you can see how much it grew! Lovely
